Check out our concurrent sessions

The fourth Asia Pacific Autism Conference, APAC15, will include 45 concurrent sessions. 

APAC15 has been structured with keynote speakers presenting in the morning sessions, followed by concurrent symposiums after the mid-morning break and concurrent sessions in the afternoons.

The sessions run daily on Wednesday 9 September and Thursday 10 September from 1:30 to 3:00pm and again from 3:30 to 5:00pm after a 30 minute afternoon tea and poster session. Three to four speakers will present in each session. The Friday 11 September concurrent sessions will run from 1:30 to 2:40pm followed by a Q&A panel session.

Concurrent session themes and topics include:
Wednesday 9 September 1:30 to 3:00pm – Diagnosis, families, schooling and early intervention
Wednesday 9 September 3:30 to 5:00pm – Life after school, gender, families, early childhood development
Thursday 10 September 1:30 to 3:00pm – Schools, families, teens, rural and remote services
Thursday 10 September 3:30 to 5:00pm – Parents, bullying, mentoring, communication and social skills
Friday 11 September 1:30 to 2:40pm – Lived experiences, employment, wellbeing.

Jointly hosted by Autism Queensland and the Australian Advisory Board on Autism Spectrum Disorders, APAC15's program is designed for researchers, practitioners, teachers and educators, allied health professionals, support organisations, advocates, parents, families and carers, and policy makers.

Early bird registrations close on Wednesday 15 July 2015 with concession rates available for people on the spectrum, parents/siblings/grandparents/foster carers and students as well as concession card holders.
